Lyrics and themes
A Japanese translation by Fujii Kaze himself is published alongside the English lyrics on the official site.[4] On the surface, the song takes the form of a consolation to someone who is hurting, but read through the official translation it expresses an internal-divinity and self-affirmation theme: all you need is in your soul, you are perfectly divine, you are made of love.
These motifs align directly with PremaTemplate:'s overarching themes of supreme love (prema), divinity, and a return to the inner self.[7]
Sound
uDiscoverMusic describes the track as evoking early-1990s R&B, specifically inspired by SWV.[7][8] The song can be characterised as a soul ballad / slow jam.
Live performances
"You" received its live debut during Coachella 2026 Week 1 (April 11, 2026, Mojave Tent), where it appeared as the seventh song of the set.[9]
