Yaffle (やっふる, born March 3, 1991) is a Japanese music producer. He serves as music producer for Fujii Kaze.

Biography

He began learning piano from elementary school and advanced to Aoyama Gakuin High School, where he was a member of both the brass band club and the light music club[4].

He then went on to Kunitachi College of Music and began activities as a composer and arranger in 2010. In 2014, he established the digital label "TOKA"[4][5].

In 2018, he launched his new project "Yaffle"[4], and in 2020 released the album "Lost, Never Gone"[6].

In 2021, he handled the music for the film "Character"[7].

2025: Move to Sony Music

On June 13, 2025, Yaffle's transfer to Sony Music Labels was announced[3]. On June 18, his first single under the new label, "Marry You feat. Leina," was released digitally — described as a "danceable wedding song" featuring 20-year-old singer-songwriter Leina[3][8]. Going forward, Yaffle is reported to plan increased focus on releasing music under his own name in addition to continuing production work for Fujii Kaze, Kenshi Yonezu and others[3].

2026: Outstanding Music Award at Japan Academy Prize

In January 2026, Yaffle received the Outstanding Music Award (優秀音楽賞) at the 49th Japan Academy Film Prize for his music for the film Bakudan (爆弾)[9][10].

Relationship with Fujii Kaze

From 2019, Yaffle has continuously served as the principal sound producer for Fujii Kaze's original songs. The making of all eleven tracks on Fujii Kaze's second studio album LOVE ALL SERVE ALL was discussed in a SPICE interview with both Fujii Kaze and Yaffle[11].
