Biography

Born and raised in Osaka, he still lives in Osaka Prefecture as of April 2022[3]. His day job is also within Osaka Prefecture[2].

He is around 30 years old, slightly older than Fujii Kaze himself[1][4].

His channel began on April 26, 2021, when he uploaded an impersonation video of Fujii Kaze's New Year's live stream held on January 1, 2021.

From there, he posted multiple videos nearly every day until early May.

Then, just about two weeks after his first upload, on May 7, 2021, he received official acknowledgment during Fujii Kaze's "Lying Down Live Stream" on Kaze's own YouTube channel[5][6][Note 1].

As of January 31, 2023, he has close to 40,000 channel subscribers, and his videos have accumulated over 10 million views.

Overview

He is famous for "'Things influenced too much by Fujii Kaze' series." In particular, the "Water heater influenced too much by Fujii Kaze" posted on October 1, 2021, has surpassed 400,000 views[7]. He bases his impersonations on Fujii Kaze's YouTube live streams and live MCs.

He also frequently posts "Impersonations too subtle to convey" parodied as Fujii Kaze impersonations, and posts videos of being recognized at Fujii Kaze's concerts.

In addition to comedy/planning videos, he also does live streams.

YouTuber Public Opinion Poll

  • He loves Fujii Kaze intensely. He impersonates Kaze's lives and MVs, and the way he picks moments and takes them up is exquisite.
  • While Ronaldu himself has said he is not good at singing, so he focuses on the talking portions, every video features loving exaggeration that is funny and generally well-received by Fujii Kaze fans[19].

Notes

  1. ↑ 1.0 1.1 "There's a guy who does impersonations of me, he's really funny. He picks up on really maniac details. It was Ronaldu-san, I think — it's crazy. Since he imitates my live streams, it makes them hard to do. No no, go ahead, do whatever, I'm happy about it. It's funny, everyone's laughing."
