FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '26
FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '26 is the 2026 edition of FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, to be held July 24–26, 2026, at Naeba Ski Resort in Yuzawa, Niigata Prefecture, Japan. Fujii Kaze makes his debut appearance on Saturday, July 25, 2026[1][2][3].
Overview
FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL is one of Japan's largest outdoor music festivals, held every summer at Naeba Ski Resort in Niigata Prefecture. Fujii Kaze's 2026 appearance is his first ever at the festival, and the festival's official FEATURED article positions Fujii Kaze and XG together as "debut performances at Fuji Rock"[3].
Fujii Kaze Appearance Details
- Date: Saturday, July 25, 2026[1]
- Venue: Naeba Ski Resort, Yuzawa, Niigata Prefecture[1][2]
- Billed as: Fujii Kaze[4]
- Status: Debut appearance[3]
First Lineup Announcement
On February 20, 2026, the official Fuji Rock site announced its first lineup wave, revealing 66 acts including Fujii Kaze[5][4]. Fuji Rock's official artist detail page also published Fujii Kaze's profile and a link to his official site[6].
Headliners include The xx, Khruangbin, and Massive Attack. Other reported Day 2 (Saturday, July 25) acts include Fujii Kaze, XG, and Riddim Saunter[7][8].
Qetic summarized the announcement as "Day 2: 7/25 (SAT) | Fujii Kaze and XG making their debut"[7].
Significance: "Neo-Global Pop"
The festival's official FEATURED article identifies "Neo-Global Pop" as one of the keys to reading the 2026 lineup, citing Fujii Kaze as a representative example[3].
The article argues that Fujii Kaze, as a Japan-originated pop/R&B artist whose reach extends to Asia and the world, aligns naturally with Fuji Rock's longstanding international character. His 2026 Fuji Rock appearance comes after Best of Fujii Kaze 2020-2024 ASIA TOUR, the "Feelin' Good" Nissan Stadium show, and Coachella 2026 weekends 1 and 2 — a period of consolidating his global footprint as a Japan-originated artist[3].
Ticket Status
The performance listing on Fujii Kaze's official site indicates that pre-sale registration for the Saturday, July 25 single-day ticket has closed[1].
